Who Am I

by Leanne Walding

This weeks Rotary Club of Murray Bridge Dinner Meeting featured a Who Am I Segment with Rotarian Leanne Walding telling us about her photography business Leanne Walding Photography. Leanne started her photography business in 2015 for portraits, family shoots and weddings. Leanne has entered in five Art Exhibitions since 2015 with prize winners and sales in all bar one. Photographing ruins and animals is what Leanne likes to do in her spare. She dabbles in experimental photography, long exposure techniques, uses a variety of devices to produce interesting effects. She is married to Dean Walding who is Plant Manager of Thomas Foods in Murray Bridge. They have two boys Brodie and Darcy who like their father tinker with cars and drag racing. They also conduct an Annual Memorial Fishing Competition to catch Mulloway between the Murray Mouth and Salt Creek in February and are members of the Bear Rock Rodders who put on a free event every year at Palmer to raise money for the local CFS and the Primary School. Leanne has also been a member of the Australian National Kennel Council since 1995 and has successfully not only showed her dogs in Conformation Classes and taking dogs through to their Australian Champion titles but also in Obedience where she not only trained her dogs but was also a training coach.
In Rotary she has taken on the role of producing the Club's Bulletin and doing a fine job. You can read it on our website each week. She has also supplied photos for the Club's very popular Calender Project for the past 2 years.
