Meeting Report

Fiona Biedermann the 9510 District Membership Chair presented and led a discussion on Corporate membership and Friends of Rotary to Murray Bridge members on Tuesday night. The Clubs membership group have been focused on these two aspects and wanted to engage club members. The strengths of the club revolves around its key projects working for the community. The motivation provided by the broad range of members interests and vocations is what engages others to join. These two categories of participation in Rotary will enable a wider group of the Community to participate in Rotary's activities and depend on time, costs, skill sets, needs, as well as motivation. They contribute to increasing impact, expand reach, enhance engagement, and increase capability.

Dear All at Rotary Club of Murray Bridge,

The School of St Jude is thrilled to inform you that your sponsored students are back at school!

Since closing all schools on 18th March 2020 because of COVID-19, the Tanzanian government allowed all schools to reopen again on 29th June 2020. Due to disruption to the school calendar, you will be receiving their Term 1 report at the end of September.

Rest assured that St Jude’s is taking all the necessary precautions and educating our students and staff on safety measures, such as social distancing, face masks and hand washing, to ensure everyone’s safety and wellbeing during school hours.

Once again All at Rotary Club of Murray Bridge, thank you so much for your ongoing support of students’ academic scholarship here at St Jude's. We look forward to updating you on their progress through the rest of 2020.
