Meeting Report

The Bridgeport Hotel development is going to be a gamechanger for Murray Bridge, the Murraylands and South Australia. Its currently being built on the Main Street Adelaide Road overlooking the Bridges and the River. New Manager Mary Lou Corcoran was at the Rotary Club of Murray Bridge meeting to tell us about progress. It will be an important contributor to the local economy employing 140 plus staff and adding to attracting visitation supporting a range of local businesses and services to our rural City. The hotel will be 6 stories high with an inspired fit out and act as a further springboard for the local growing tourism sector. It includes100 well appointed high quality suite rooms, a sports bar, lounge bar, two dinning/ function areas, alfresco area, conference spaces, infinity pool overlooking the River and will have a strong focus on local community with a target of employing up to 90% plus local workforce, with very much a youth focus and creating pathways for youth development. Exciting times ahead for Murray Bridge Watch this space.

Letter from School of St Jude

Dear All at Rotary Club of Murray Bridge,
Greetings from The School of St Jude.
It’s always such a great surprise for our sponsors to receive letters from the St Jude’s students whose scholarships they support.
Please find Dorcas’s letter to you attached, we hope you will enjoy reading it.
Dorcas was excited to have the opportunity to write a letter to you thanking you for your continuous support towards her academic scholarship and telling you all about the holiday, new class and new subjects.
On behalf of Dorcas and all of us at St Jude’s, thank you, All at Rotary Club of Murray Bridge, for your continued support through this challenging time.
We hope you and your loved ones are keeping safe.
Kind regards,

Dear All at Rotary Club of Murray Bridge,
Greetings from the School of St Jude!
As you know 2020 was a very challenging and disrupted year which prevented our Standard 7 students from having their Primary Graduation celebration. The good news is Anania has been given his Standard 7 Certificate of completion and we have attached his photos for you to enjoy.
As always, your support for Anania’s primary academic scholarship is deeply appreciated and we are sure you are just as excited as we are to see how he progresses into his new chapter in secondary!
We hope you are keeping safe and please let us know if you have any questions.
Kind regards
Valentina Mboya
