The Murray Bridge ANZAC Day Dawn Service was attended by over 1,000 people at Sturt Reserve, followed by a Gunfire Breakfast at the RSL.
The RSL wishes to than...k the following for their part in the Dawn Service: Mr Chris Tilley, CPL Selina Laing, Mr Merv Schopp, Ms Hannah Smith, Noel, John and Tony, The Murray Bridge Concert Band, and Pastor Grant Spangenburg. We also thank all those who laid wreaths and tributes.
Special thanks to Mayor Brenton Lewis, Mr Tony Pasin MP, Mr Adrian Pederick MP, 622 Squadron – Australian Air Force Cadets, 45 Army Cadet Unit – Australian Army Cadets, Mr Dave Talbot – Sound and Lighting, Bugler Ben Wohlfeil, Rural City of Murray Bridge Council, Marketplace Shopping Centre for free parking, Kennard’s Hire – Mt Barker for free light tower, and the past and present members of the Australian Defence Forces, for their service.

John "Wiggy" Bennett shaved his head and beard, Andy Dale shaved his beard and the lovely Krissy Murray had her head shaved, and together they raised over $800 for Legacy. Well done guys!
