At last, a quieter week a chance to catch our breath, with our final committee and last board meetings, I get that my time as president is almost up. This coming week it all starts again, Thursday is the Aged Care and Carers Expo at the Murray Bridge Town Hall from 10.00am to 4.00pm, make an effort to see what is available when you or a loved one has special needs. Thursday night is the final Presidents meeting at Mt Barker with Area Governor, Tim Klar with Sunday, Guess Who’s Coming to Lunch, you can pay on the day or pay the attendance people Tuesday night.
If you attended last week’s meeting you may already be well on the way to cleaning out cupboards for much needed articles for Treasure Boxes, please bring them to Rotary for Roxanne to pass onto Treasure Boxes, you have four weeks to do so.
Should anybody want to attend the MBHS, School of Rock musical on Thursday 6th June, 7.00pm-10.00pm please see me, as we are now unable to attend.  The night is cabaret self-assigned seating, there are a number of Rotarians attending on the night. Tickets are free of charge.

Celebration of Culture at St Jude

Every year, our students hold a Cultural Day, a special day to celebrate the richness and diversity of cultures that make up our community.
It's a day full of buzz, excitement, and creativity. Students embrace and showcase their unique traditions and customs through dances, songs, art, drama, fashion shows, and poetry.
We celebrated Cultural Day last week at St Jude’s Girls’ Secondary School. Our girls portrayed the theme, “Save the culture, Inspire the future”, reminding us of the profound impact of preserving our culture.
Thanks to the teamwork of our staff and students for putting this together!

Murray Bridge High School
Music Showcase

The two Rotary Clubs in Murray Bridge supported the Murray Bridge High School Winter Sounds Music Progam on Wednesday night catering and attending the performances. It was a creative design showcase highlighting the very successful music progam at the school from year 7 to 12. The capacity crowd appreciated the efforts of the students and their teachers. Over 140 students are involved in the music program. John Scarvelis
