Ah! The pitter patter of tiny feet running through the house, yes Easter Bunny delivering Easter eggs to all you lucky Rotarians.
We welcomed our two new Rotarians, Ali Bolt and Caitlin Lennon into our Club last week, please take time to chat to them feel welcome.
We look forward to our weekend with the Adelaide Rotary Club on the weekend of 13th and 14th of April.
Thanks to all who helped with the Multicultural Festival last weekend, it was a great day.
The Ambrose Golf Tournament is on the 18th of April please keep an eye out as I’m sure Jenny and her team will need help.
Fencing at Monarto is going well with another day on the 8th of April that could be our last day with a good roll up.
Once again, Members need to put an APOLOGY in when not attending Rotary meetings.
Bridgeport Hotel need to know numbers by Monday midday, so far, they have been very patient with us as far as numbers go.
Tuesday, we look forward to our music bursary student Drew Bettcher, see you there.
Cheers Gordon.

Loxton Conference 2024

Conference 2024 has now concluded after a packed program at Loxton
Approximately 350 people attended the Plenary Sessions and 300 attended the gala dinner at Selena Estate.
The Murray Bridge contingent were challenged, entertained and informed by the wide range of speakers and Soapbox presenters.
This may well have been the last District Conference to be held in our District as we move into the Regionalisation model after July this year.
As part of this, our next get together will be in April next year at the Morphettville Racecourse for a "Rotary Impact Summit".
The Summit will be a collaboration between D9800 (Melbourne) and our own D9510.
Watch for more information.
Below are images of some of the Murray Bridge attendees plus the winner of the "guess how many lollies in the jar" competition.

Bread Tags For Wheelchairs

More bread tags recycled, more wheelchairs provided...... we are now up to 92 wheelchairs. Samantha and Joan are our latest recipients. Oh, and did we mention we have recycled 12 tonnes of plastic bread tags in
Australia? ♻

“You have changed two lives for the good, and forever.” Neil Silver

Writing this article I could not go past using the above quote as a header. As a Club we can be proud to have been part of this amazing act of kindness, through providing the financial means for two operations removing the disfiguring deformity of cleft lip/palate for two bright eyed young ladies, Nani and Sabrina.
When I reported this project to you last November, I indicated there was good promise of a great outcome for Nani, an outcome we can now share with a lovely photo.
Through an act of good fortune, of God or an amazing coincidence, the surgical operation for Nani was fully prepared, at the same time as Nani and Sabrina were ready to go, so both were admitted to the surgical theatre for the cost of one which we had provided! Wow already!
You might notice that Nani has a protruding tooth, which will be straightened in the near future.
Neil Silver is the contact person for the “Buy a Smile” project.
