WEEKLY CHATTER – 27TH AUGUST 2023

Another week come and gone. Salee Baker gave a great presentation last week, it’s good to see our young people taking advantage of our Rotary projects.
We bid bon voyage to Jacquie and Cecily as they go globetrotting around the world and wish them safe travels and look forward to their return.
Great work by Darryl to get the Heart of Nation message on the digital board, looks good.
The board has agreed to purchase 5 peace poles to be placed at the Murray Bridge High School, thanks to Roxanne and Sam for their effort in getting this to happen.
Look forward to seeing you all at the movies Tuesday night thanks to Lyn and her committee.
Yours in Rotary, Gordon

CHAMPIONS MOVIE - THIS TUESDAY EVENING

There is NO meeting at the Golf Club this Tuesday as we are attending the Champions movie at the Cameo Cinema from 5.30pm.

Successful Golf Tournament

(Copied from ARH Newsletter)
Recently Australian Rotary Health Director John Campbell attended the Rotary Club of Murray Bridge Changeover. In April the Club held a very successful Golf Tournament with Australian Rotary Health's 'Lift the Lid' on Mental Illness as the beneficiary. John played with members from Rotary Club Of Goolwa. We thank the club for their generosity and presenting a cheque for $4,500 to our Director John Campbell.
