Well, another year almost gone and if you are like me, you just wonder where 2023 has gone.
Congratulations go to Jenny Alexander Walters for a great Christmas party with great feedback on the night, it was throughly enjoyed.
Thank you to Bev and John Scarvelis for their generous support in allowing us into their home for Tuesday morning’s breakfast meeting which is our last for the year, it’s a great time for fun and fellowship.
All welcome to attend be there for a 7.00 am start.
This being my last newsletter for the year, on behalf of Merilyn and myself we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and New Year, enjoy this special time with family and friends, and if travelling please stay safe. See you all bright and early Tuesday Morning.

Christmas Meeting

The Rotary Club of Murray Bridge held its Christmas party on Tuesday at the Murray Bridge Golf Club. President Elect Jenny Alexander- Walters and her Club Service Committee kept the party moving. Jenny Phillips and Lisa Scerri entertained the children with a Christmas story. The Harmony Trio plus 2 kept all of us entertained with their songs and carols. Jingle Bells brought the Big Guy in the Red suite with presents for the children. The golf club delivered a tasty meal and everyone went away happy. A feature of the night was seeing the Rotarians and their children and grandchildren together enjoying themselves. Family is everything!!!! John Scarvelis

Shelterbox & Putt Putt

Three Murraylands Rotary Clubs Murray Bridge, Mobilong, and Tailem Bend joined together in a game of Putt putt golf at the Avoca Dell Caravan Park at Eastside Murray Bridge resulting in raising money for two Shelter Boxes valued at $2,000 for overseas disaster use with thanks to a $1000 donation from Laurence and Kim Crack the Park's owners. It was a great fun night in perfect spring weather the frogs were croacking in the bilabong and the birds were singing in between the laughter of the Rotarians and their partners. The Rotary Club of Mobilong won the shield and Rotary Action enabled more support for those less fortunate than ourselves. Also a special thanks to Jedz Pizza of Murray Bridge for the donation of Pizza. John Scarvelis
