Meeting Report 3304

Last weeks meeting was an enjoyable evening with an interesting guest speaker.
Meeting was chaired by John Scarvelis and in the absence of President David, Vice President Gary presided.
Heads & Tails proved to be a little confusing with our sergeant Simon not having the traditional Kip to toss the coins. improvising he tossed them from his hand resulting in a suspect winner, wife Lyn.
 
Our Easter Raffle was drawn on Tuesday evening by Rotarian Bruce Frazer.
Results are posted on our website.
Congratulations to Simon & Lyn, without their dogged persistence this project would not have raised the reward to our club.
 
Vocational Director Robin, urged members to visit the online volunteering page recently emailed to them. This facility built into ClubRunner allows all members to be part of our club by contributing to the life of our club even though they are not regular meeting attendees.
 
 

Can You Assist?

Last week i asked for members to assist with the upcoming MBHS Professional Development Day Catering. This assistance is required on Monday 29th April
This is not a BBQ! We are required to serve 250 people morning tea and then prepared meals for lunch. We are simply serving and clearing up. Simple!!!!
But I need your help. the morning shift is nearly filled but  the lunch shift need your help. Please contact me ASAP if you are able to assist between 11am - 2.30pm (max).

Next Meeting

Our next meeting is an opportunity to meet with our District Membership chair, PDG Euan Miller. Euan has asked if members can make a special effort to be present and programs officer Jack has invited members from Mobilong & Tailem Bend to be part of the evening.
As per normal, it is imperative that all apologies and guest are notified to the Golf Club. 
 
all apologies must be made to the Golf Club unless advised to our attendance officers at the previous meeting.
Do not ring or email the attendance officers only the Golf Club.

District Assembly Catering

Last meeting we received a request for assistance from the Rotary Club of Mobilong regarding catering at the upcoming District Assembly on May 5th.
Please consider the request for assistance and baking. Tuesday evening we need to know if you can assist.
Lets work with our daughter Club to bring about a positive outcome this Assembly.
Lesley Murray or David Price can provide more information.

Green Sheet

Currently our Green Sheet only is seen by those who are actually at our meetings and sometimes it does not get to all tables.
In an effort to enable ALL MEMBERS TO BECOME ENGAGED, the Volunteer Module within ClubRunner has been activated.
All members will have recently received an email generated from within ClubRunner inviting you to volunteer for the upcoming Murray Bridge High School Catering. Once you click the sign up button you will be asked to select either or both of the time slots available.
This system is working well in other Clubs and enables ALL ROTARIANS to contribute to the projects of their Club.
Please give it a try and provide feedback next meeting.
