Meeting Report

Murray Bridge Rotarian Sherida Campbell manages the Murray Bridge Bank SA Branch at a time when we are coming out of the Covid 19 crisis. What happens in this recovery period will have long term and historical consequences. Last night at our Virtual Rotary Club of Murray Bridge Meeting she presented on the effect the Virus has had on banking in Murray Bridge, and the banking industry, and what issues she sees going forward. Sherida has had 30 years of banking experience. Banks are an essential service and Bank SA is part of the Westpac Group. Sherida outlined the staff training and Bank policies development during the crisis. The Relief packages offered to the community including home loan deferals and the significant new staffing arrangements required and undertaken. It is clear that Australia needs a strong banking industry. Many front line staff from the health sector, teachers, retailers, restrauranters, social workers, are being acknowledged. We should also include Bank staff and to them we also say thank you.

Catherine Hamlin Fistula Foundation

This International Day to End Obstetric Fistula, our goal is to raise enough money to fund 70 life-changing fistula surgeries.

We can't do it without YOU and YOUR COMMUNITY.

Ask your community to MAKE a $7 donation, SHARE with 7 of their friends and family and ask them to give $7 too - together, we will REACH our goal and help 70 women.

With only 12 days to go, will you help by donating today?

The United Nations named May 23rd International Day to End Obstetric Fistula to recognise the importance of ending fistula in achieving our world's Sustainable Development Goals, and in particular ensuring healthy lives and well-being for all.

Dr Catherine Hamlin dedicated her life to helping fistula sufferers. She had one simple vision - to eradicate fistula in Ethiopia by 2030.

By donating $7 today and asking 7 family and friends to do the same, you and you members are all helping restoring hope and dignity to women needlessly suffering.

Together we can finish what Dr Catherine Hamlin started. Please join our caring community by donating $7 today.

Thank you for your support.
