Jack Reddin
This is my Rotary Story
How did you make first contact with our club?
I didn’t really, they kept asking me every couple of years and aged about 55 I thought I might get on board
Why do you stay a member?
I enjoy volunteering (putting back) and this is just one of several volunteering ways I do that.
What are you passionate about, both broadly and within the club?
Projects, projects, projects.
How do you engage with the club?
Putting my hand up as often as I feel comfortable with, attending meetings, getting involved where I can, contributing back to the club.
How do you relax?
Read, write, watch movies and the like, playing sport.
What has been your most exhilarating Rotary experience?
Organising and sending a shipping container of playgrounds, educational materials and other goods to Mongolia.
What does volunteering mean to you?
As I alluded to above, I’ve had such a fortunate life. I do feel that part of a way of saying thank you is to give back in some way.
