Get Your Calendar NOW!!!
Project Leader, Rotarian Jaquie Best reported this year's Calendar Project "Hotels of the Murray Mallee" is now available. The 2025 Calendar features photos and history of hotels in this area. Weekly gift vouchers can be won to be spent at Drakes or Bunnings whichever is nominated by the purchaser on the form. The Calendars are available from Murray Bridge Rotarians and production is limited. They will also be available at Drakes from Rotarians till December. A great fundraiser for Rotary Projects local and international.
Safari Park Shelter
Rotary continues to develop the new Mallee native animals reserve at the Monarto Safari Park. Having completed the fencing (well almost) we have now begun the information shelter. This will be a place for visitors to sit whilst observing and hearing about native australian fauna. Rob Walters, Sam Cozens, Jim Cundy and Mark Smith (from ZOOSSA, not in photo) have erected the 7 posts that will support the structure.
Congratulations to our 2024 Music Bursary Scholarship Recipients!
The Murray Bridge Rotary Club has a long-standing partnership with Murray Bridge High School, supporting young musicians through a $1,000 Music Bursary Scholarship for one senior student each year. This year, the Rotary Board recognised the exceptional talent and dedication of two outstanding Year 11 students and generously awarded $1,000 to each!
Congratulations to our deserving students

Paul Harris Fellows
As the rotary Club of Murray Bridge entered a new Rotary year beginning 1st July, we celebrated at the Bridgport Hotel with the recognition of several people as Paul Harris Fellows.
A PHF as it is often known is presented a person or organisation who has gone above that expected of them and "Done Good In The World". A donation of US$1000 is paid to the Rotary Foundation which continues the great works of Rotary International.
Congratulations to Wayne Rowland, Roger Wickes and Jacquie Best on being recognised with a PHF. John Scarvelis and Malcolm Blight received recognition of continued service with a sapphire being added to their original PHF.
Acknowledgements of outstanding service in the area of International Service were presented to Jack Reddin and Roxanne Rowland.
