We'd love to see YOU at Pioneer Adventure Day!
Farming Families • Rural Communities • City Slickers • Rotarians ... YOU
Sunday 3 May 2026
Old Tailem Town Pioneer Village
Princes Highway, Tailem Bend South Australia
9am to 4pm
Rotary is running this S.A. Drought Relief to lift the spirits of farming families & give hope!
In 2025, we delivered emergency livestock fodder to 350+ farms. Our band of passionate supporters will (figuratively) wrap our arms around these families again on 3 May to continue showing that we care, having witnessed how tough conditions are and the stresses they are enduring!

1000 Birthing Kits!
The Rotary Club of Murray Bridge completed the assembly of 1,000 Birthing Kits with community support in day 2 of this project on 17th January.
International Director Sue Foster advised that 2.8 million kits have been distributed since the project began. There are 42 Rotary Clubs in Australia which have contributed to the project with 22 being in South Australia. Rotary Australia and Zonta partnered in 2006 to form Birthing Kits Australia. The Rotary Club of Murray Bridge applied for a Rotary Foundation District Grant and was successful. This grant ensured the project could be completed. Additional Club and community fundraising resulted in the target of $5000 being reached. On 13th January at a Club gathering, members & friends folded the 1000 plastic sheets which form the basis of the Birthing Kit in preparation for the community event. We had further community support to finish the task on Saturday and we wish to thank the Rotary Clubs of Mobilong, Mt Barker, Tailem Bend, Edwardstown, and St Peters. We also thank Adelaide Hills Inner Wheel, University of the Third Age, Murray Bridge CWA and Soldiers Memorial Hospital Sunshiners in Murray Bridge. Over 60 helpers supported the project on Saturday plus the further Rotarians at our meeting on Tuesday. A classic example of Rotary in Action.
